Join SERCAP and BB&T Bank for a Free Lunch and the Opportunity to Share Your Opinion on Community Needs!
On December 6, 2018, Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project, Inc. (SERCAP) is inviting you to join us at Emory & Henry College in the Town of Marion in Smyth County, VA, to participate in a Focus Group and Free Lunch Event!
SERCAP, a 501(C)3 Nonprofit Organization that provides Water, Wastewater, Housing, and Community Development services, is interested in learning more about the Community Needs in Smyth County, VA, and is inviting the Public to participate in this Community Focus Group & Free Lunch Event, in Partnership with BB&T Bank.
The Program will begin with a Short Presentation on the Resources and Assistance available in Smyth County for both low-to-moderate income individuals and communities/community groups within Smyth County. Then, while everyone enjoys their Lunch, SERCAP will facilitate a discussion on the most urgent needs in the community, and what services and resources might be needed to address these needs. Additionally, staff will be available to provide Application Assistance and Information for Grants and Loans that are available to low-to-moderate income individuals to assist with Individual Household Wells, Individual Household Septic Systems, and Home Repairs, for those who might be interested and in need of services.

This Event is FREE and Open to the Public. Lunch will be Provided, and the Event is being Generously Underwritten by our Partner, BB&T Bank.
